An effective cleaning and collection system
We have developed our own system for collecting waste products in installations with fluids and products with high viscosity. When the piping system has to be emptied of residue, a so called “pig” is pushed through the pipes in the flow direction ensuring the remaining residue of product is feed to the dispenser. The Pigging system effectively limits loss of product and the waste of resources, you will avoid long periods of water rinsing and unwanted dilution of the product. Pigging is a method that has been used for about 100 years in the oil industry by sending a projectile down through a pipeline to clean it and collect the residue, which would have otherwise been wasted.
Pigging is today also used in modern production processes that have frequent product change in their pipe lines. This results in major improvements of the efficiency and profitability as well as benefitting the environment with eliminating product spillage and reducing water usage.
