Single or double pigging system

Single pigging system
A system with a single pig is the most common type for product collection. Normally, the product will be pumped from the source to its destination. The destination can either be a filling machine, or another storage vessel. In this type of system, the normal position for the pig is in its sending station.

Double pigging station
The double system with two pigs is widely applied to processes where the product must not come into contact with air. This applies for products such as beer, wine, foam and gel products.
